About Shelley Carpets
Shelley Carpets is family-owned and operated by the Brownings, who were born and raised in the Sarasota, Florida area.
The Brownings purchased Shelley Carpets in 1987 from former owner, James Shelley. After doing business in Sarasota for 17 years, they purchased their current showroom location in 2004. Located at 6050 Palmer Blvd. in Sarasota, Shelley Carpets offers a 6,000 square foot showroom and a 5,000 square foot warehouse. We always have a large inventory on hand to fulfill our customers' flooring needs on demand!
Our Team
Community Involvement
We strive to be involved with our local community, supporting local schools, organizations, and youth sports through volunteer work. We support schools such as Fruitville Elementary, Tatum Elementary, McIntosh Middle School, Sarasota High School, Booker High School, Sarasota Christian School, and Lakewood Ranch High School, among many others. We’re also involved with the Sarasota Cal Ripken League, Babe Ruth League, Sarasota Gymnastics, FFA Sarasota Chapter, and the Myakka Family Worship Center.

Many of our products come from Shaw including Anso, Caress, Clearly Chic, ClearTouch, EverTouch, R2X Stain Remover, St. Jude Carpet Cushion, Tuftex, and Floorte. Our installers are all fully insured and are some of the highest-quality professionals in the local area. Service and installation are the keys to our business.
